『 MAX'S VIEW 』
Stupid internet thing... its really a pain. Helps get news out way faster than I had hoped for. The country is buzzing with whether or not us 'birdkids/genetic freaks' are real or not. Hopefully it'll all die down soon... except... Fang's blog isn't helping...
Anyways... profile stuff. I should say something important, right? Umm... well, I'm Max, short for Maximum Ride. Don't get on my name. I gave it to myself and I stand by it. I'm 14 years old, and I'm an Avian-American. Never heard of it? Well its exactly what you think it is. I'm an American girl with bird genes grafted into my human DNA. A recombinant lifeform. Neat, huh? Its actually really nice... but its dangerous being an escaped experiment.
I have five family members... my flock. I look at them as though they were my own family, even if they're not. If anyone even thinks of messing with them I will not hesitate to destroy them! I don't want to hurt people... not when I'm supposed to save the world, but I won't let anyone hurt my world either, and my flock is my everything!
Anyways... we escaped the School together with the help of a man who I considered my father... not anymore. Not after what he's done to us. We're still on the run from them and we're trying to find our.... their real parents. I was the only one without a file... but I will be happy as long as they are. Besides... this will be a good experience for us all!
Oh, and I swear... if I see any Erasers lurking around on here and you even think of coming near my flock, you will regret every second you are near us!

『 BOOK INFO 』
Max is a tough girl on the outside. She's fierce and independent. She's the one everyone relies on. She has to be strong for them. In all honesty, though, she's just as afraid of the future as her flock is. She just won't ever let them see. Its her burden, now, and she'll do whatever she can to make things easier for her flock. And by whatever she means anything and everything. If it will better the lives of her flock members she will not hesitate to do it. Theft, breaking and entering, even sacrificing her own life. To her, her flock is her world. They are her siblings and her children, and she has fierce maternal instincts.
Outside of that, Max is 5ft 8 inches. She has dark brown hair with blonde streaks in it.She has wings that are 13ft wide and are tan with white streaks and light brown spots. On top of all that she is a highly skilled fighter, as well. Any member of her flock is stronger than any grown man and can crack their ribs with a strong enough kick, one that would only knock the breath out of each other. Max has no true family that she knows of. For all she knows she was a test-tube baby. The only family she has is her flock, or at least she considers them family. She once considered a kind scientist who saved her and her flock and raised them for two years her father until he betrayed them and sided with the scientists.
Max is not a normal human being. She is a recombinant experiment. Her human genes were drafted with that of a birds. She has several different gifts due to this combination. The wings and swift speed for starters. She's stronger than most humans. Her bones are light to make for easy flying. She grew up in the School where she was treated cruelly, like a lab experiment. They did horrible tests on her and her flock and she now hates anyone in a whitecoat because of them.
Max is slightly paranoid. Not in a bad way, she's just always watching out for erasers. People who look like models but turn into a horrible combination of wolf and human and were sent by the School to kill her and her flock, or take them back. She's also claustrophobic. She grew up in a cage that wasn't even tall enough for her to stand up in. And there's a 'Voice' inside her head trying to guide her. Sometimes... she just ignores it, but she has no idea where it came from.
